Reliable High Performance Connections Performance and reliability, are two key factors in ensuring your success with
your internet applications. Our network infrastructure is designed for optimal
performance and reliability using advanced routing protocols, redundant
components and connections.
The Internet exists as a series of interconnected networks or 'backbones',
each of which is managed by a different network provider. These network providers
have high speed data paths (OC3 or higher) and are very well managed. However,
they can become overloaded and often cause Internet 'brownouts' - situations
where access to parts of the Internet becomes extremely slow. To help overcome
these "brownouts" we have multiple connections , known as multi-homed, to the
"backbone" providers. Then using advanced routing protocols, such as Border Gateway
Protocol 4.0 (BGP4), we can determine the shortest path to your destination and
then deliver your data to the correct backbone for fastest access.
